DC secured a thrilling one-wicket win in Visakhapatnam, kickstarting their campaign on a high. Marsh dazzled with a 36-ball 72, smashing six fours and six sixes before Mukesh Kumar dismissed him in the 12th over. However, his departure didn’t slow down Pooran, who continued his relentless attack on the DC bowlers.
Former West Indies T20I captain Nicholas Pooran went berserk in the 13th over, smashing Tristan Stubbs for four sixes and a boundary, amassing 28 runs in a single over.
Lucknow Super Giants fans had high expectations from Rishabh Pant, but the most expensive player in IPL history endured a forgettable outing. Despite facing six deliveries, he failed to score and was caught near the boundary by Faf du Plessis off Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling.
